Yeshua didn’t come to start a new religion

Yeshua didn’t come to start a new religion. He came to confirm the righteousness of God’s Law, as given through Moses, as well as to purchase for himself salvage-rights to mankind. This is why he has the title “Savior.” His sacrifice satisfied the Father’s demands… and because of this, the Father has committed all judgment of mankind to him.

“For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the son gives life to whom he will. For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the son, that all should honor the son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the son does not honor the Father who sent him.”

John 5:21-23 NKJV

As the judge of all mankind, Yeshua decides who to keep (salvage, save), and who to throw away. He has also clearly stated the criterion by which he will judge every man. It is and always has been an issue of the kind of person one is. It’s about their character as demonstrated by what they did with what they were given. Contrary to popular Evangelical Christian doctrine, it is an issue of works.

“Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear his voice and come forth — those who have done good, to a resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to a resurrection of condemnation.”

John 5:28,29

Yeshua will also judge between those he has chosen to keep. He will base his judgment on how well each did, and each will be rewarded accordingly. These will be divided into two groups which he illustrated in the story of the shepherd separating the sheep from the goats. The sheep get to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, and the goats have to stay out of it. The right to enter the “Kingdom of Heaven” is the reward for those who have demonstrated that they will be law-abiding citizens of the new kingdom.

The “Kingdom of Heaven” is the city of New Jerusalem in the new heavens and new earth to come. It is described in detail in Revelation 21. According to the specs in this chapter, New Jerusalem is a huge, glorious, and fabulously wealthy city where the streets are paved with gold! This city is 1,380 miles square and bigger than most countries on earth today. Its borders could not fit inside the lower 48 states. They would have to extend roughly 80 miles into both Mexico and Canada. It is so big, it’s a city-country-kingdom all in one. It is this city that Yeshua was referring to as the “Kingdom of Heaven” where the sheep live. Outside the city is a different place that is not considered part of the Kingdom of Heaven. It is the area of the new earth where the remainder of those who are saved “goats” will live.

According to Revelation 21, this huge city/kingdom is also surrounded by a wall over 200 feet high. That wall is there for the very purpose of keeping non-citizens out. Only the law-abiding citizens identified by the mark of the Father’s name on their foreheads will be free to come and go as they wish. Walls and citizenship IDs are Godly principles! Hell hates boundaries as well as the principle of individual identity. It is the nature of evil to infiltrate, steal, kill and destroy.

Paul’s doctrine of grace through faith alone is a liberal gospel of amnesty. Paul, and those who teach his doctrine, are the equivalent of “coyotes” attempting to smuggle lawbreakers into where they don’t belong. It’s a something-for-nothing gospel where people are led to believe they’ve won the spiritual lottery and some new right to just walk right into the kingdom. Its appeal to man’s penchant toward irresponsibility and laziness has made it highly marketable. But the only way for a person to become a legal citizen of the kingdom is by demonstrating that they will be Law-abiding citizens by keeping God’s Laws now. That demonstration must begin with obeying the greatest commandment …to love God with all one’s heart. God doesn’t want people near Him who don’t understand Him, who don’t fear Him or acknowledge Him as Creator or love Him, and therefore can’t be trusted …any more than citizens of countries here on earth want people in their country who don’t understand it or love it and therefore can’t be trusted.

Hell’s greatest goal is to rob God of the love He was seeking when He took the incredible risk in creating a being with a free will. What God desires most is to be understood and loved for His character! Only beings of similar character can understand each other and therefore truly love each other because they are naturally drawn to each other. To the degree two beings are similar in character will be the degree to which they are capable of understanding and loving each other. The lies that have been sown about God’s character have no end and Paul is responsible for some of the worst of them. No decent person, who believes God intentionally creates some people evil so He can vent His rage on them and thereby show those He predestined to be saved how good He is, can possibly identify with that character. Only the worst of psychopaths could identify with that character! Decent people who believe such lies about God simply cannot relate to Him are not attracted to Him, and therefore cannot truly love Him. And this is only one of Paul’s lies to that effect! The fact that Paul said there was only one commandment on which all other commandments hung, “love your neighbor as yourself”, and left out the greatest commandment …to love God with all one’s heart, should tell us everything we need to know. The truth is, if Paul actually believed the things he taught about God, he couldn’t love Him either.

God is good and righteous in everything He has ever done. It’s easy and natural to fall in love with Him when we come to know this truth about His character. He has been hurt deeply by man who has so easily believed the lies about Him. It started with Adam and Eve believing the lie that God didn’t have their best interests in mind and was keeping something from them. Many Christian teachers object to the concept of God “hurting”, claiming God can’t be God if He feels pain. But that too is a lie that has made its way into both Christian and Jewish teaching through the Pharisees and Greek philosophy. Hell doesn’t want mankind to know this about God. Humans instinctively know that the ability to feel the pain of rejection can only occur in a person who truly feels the desire for another’s love. God wants us to know His character. He longs for man to see the beauty and righteousness of his character and fall in love with Him, and want to be like Him. The Devil doesn’t want us knowing that God truly desires to be loved by us.

On judgment day, God will not exact from man something he cannot deliver. Every person will be righteously judged by what they did with what they were given. To whom much was given, much will be required. To whom little was given, little will be required. Contrary to popular Christian doctrines, there are no special tickets for saying the right words, or simply believing the right things …nor will there be any loopholes to justify condemning anyone. Everyone will receive exactly what they have merited. The Pauline/Christian doctrine that says, you can’t do anything to win your salvation so you shouldn’t even try, will be exposed for the lie that it is. On that day everyone will see how good, righteous, lovable, unimaginably awesome and to be feared God has always been, and we will hate the lies and hate ourselves for ever having believed them for a moment.

As I illustrated in the introduction to this book, it’s time to stop skating around lost in the fog on the frozen lake of life. We need to stop and test the wind for ourselves, not trusting any religious institution to do it for us, to make sure we are going in the right direction …while we still can.

Why must we have Paul?

At the beginning of Yeshua’s ministry on earth, he chose12 individuals whom he named apostles, whom he also trained and taught to be his official witnesses. (John 15:16) Before he ascended, he commissioned them as his official witnesses to go into all the nations and tell of what they had seen and what they had heard him teach. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Paul never spent a minute with Yeshua during his ministry. If he was a true apostle, we are forced to believe that Yeshua wasted his time with the twelve. If Yeshua could in an instant, authorize and commission someone like Paul to be his apostle, who would then go on to do more than all the others combined even while they were still alive, we must ask why he even bothered with the twelve in the first place. The telling matter in this is the glaring difference between what Yeshua’s true apostles believed, and what Paul taught. Before Paul came along, no one had heard of the notion that the Law had been superseded in any way. Yeshua’s apostles and the many thousands of new Messianic believers in Jerusalem who followed them continued to abide by the entire Law of Moses… including those of burnt offerings. This is well documented in the 21st chapter of the book of Acts where James points out to Paul that there were “myriads” of Messianic Jews who were “all zealous for the Law”. It was in this scene that James also insisted that Paul quell the rumors about him that he had been teaching against the Law by providing the animals for burnt offerings for the purification rites of four Nazarites. According to the Law (Numbers 6:14-15), James had ordered Paul to provide… “one male lamb in its first year without blemish as a burnt offering, one ewe lamb in its first year without blemish as a sin offering, one ram without blemish as a peace offering, a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, and their grain offering with their drink offering” for each of the four Nazarites. By providing these offerings, James believed Paul would be making the statement that he himself continued to stand by the Law of Moses.  The fact that James had to deal with Paul this way clearly demonstrates the difference between what Paul had been teaching, and what Yeshua’s mentored witnesses continued to believe. We must decide which of the two we are going to believe and follow. Are we going to believe and follow those who actually walked with Yeshua, or are we going to follow Paul who arrogated authority to himself to teach something different based on a few moments of hearing Yeshua’s voice in a blinding experience on the road to Damascus?

The fact that Paul converted and became a Messianic believer in Yeshua proves nothing. The Scriptures are full of examples of those who at one time were in favor with God and later fell from that favor. Whether it be Balaam, who was likewise converted on a road through a miraculous encounter while on the way to curse God’s people and later sinned and was destroyed, or Solomon who fell out of favor with God later in life, or Paul’s own name-sake, king Saul, about whom God said He regretted having made king of Israel, no one is immune to falling out of favor with God. If it can happen to these men, why not Paul?  Christianity refuses to consider this possibility because it is addicted to Paul’s pain-killing doctrines of predestination, where mankind’s greatest pain, guilt, is sedated with the lie that one is not truly responsible for their actions …as well as being attracted to Paul’s something-for-nothing doctrine of faith-alone. Paul’s doctrine is a doctrine of irresponsibility and laziness …and the market for such is endless.

Christians must ask themselves why Yeshua’s words as recorded in the Gospels by those who followed him are not good enough. Why must we have Paul? When that question is answered, the problem becomes apparent. It is because one simply cannot extract Paul’s doctrine out of Yeshua’s words. The fact that Christianity cannot do without Paul proves that there is a difference between Yeshua’s doctrine and his.

From another angle

In the world today there are three great monotheistic religions… Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Each claims to believe in what Christianity calls “The Old Testament”, yet each religion has more recent writings and revelations that have taken precedence over these preeminent Scriptures. These new pieces of literature have taken each religion down the road of serious error. The Jews have the oral law which was written down in the Talmud. Christians and Muslims can clearly identify Judaism’s error in this. Muslims have the writings of Mohammed in the Koran. Christians and Jews clearly identify Islam’s error there. What Christianity is just as blind to, that Jews and Muslims can clearly see, is its error in embracing the words of Paul.

It’s about Yeshua, his bride, and the kingdom of heaven

In the previous 2 chapters, I have laid the case for Yeshua’s Messiahship. With his well-documented genealogical credentials of being both the son of David and Levi, there will never come another with credentials that can begin to rival his. Yeshua is Israel’s Messiah, and he is soon returning to take possession of what he has earned and the Father has held in trust for him for nearly 2000 years. This certainly could be seen as the height of delayed gratification. When we realize Yeshua could have had it all without waiting, and without going through the torment of crucifixion if he had just bowed to Satan when it was offered to him, we are left in absolute awe of his indescribable proven character.

He is indeed worthy, …worthy to return with all the power and glory that his Father desires for him, …worthy to dethrone Satan and expel him and his minions, …worthy to destroy all those who have sworn their allegiance to his rival the antichrist, …worthy to lift Israel’s head from his long reproach and honor him above all nations, …worthy to ascend the throne of his earthly father David and establish the Kingdom of God on earth, …and worthy to build the temple. Also, as a son of Levi, he is worthy to sanctify the temple so the Presence of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel may return to dwell in the Most Holy Place, never to leave His people again as He said. Yeshua is worthy to rule this world for a thousand years as King and High Priest of the Most High God, the anointed, the Messiah of Israel.

He is also worthy to have received the authority from the Father to judge every man. In chapter 2 we saw that there are two books of Life by which every person’s placement will be determined. There is the general Book of Life and the more exclusive Lamb’s Book of Life. We have seen that from the very beginning of creation it was the Father’s intention to bring into existence a worthy bride for His son Yeshua. These are they whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. They alone will have the right to enter the New Jerusalem, the Lamb’s wife, and have the right to eat of the tree of life and live in the presence of Yeshua and Almighty God forever.

This bride is Yeshua’s prize. It has long been Satan’s intention to diminish this prize as much as he can. We have seen that Paul has single-handedly created a counterfeit Gentile religion. The doctrines of the false apostle Paul have clearly given men license to ignore the Law of God thus preventing them from having their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. In this way, Paul has become one of Satan’s most effective tools.

It is long overdue that Paul is called to task on what he has done. Those of us who love the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and Yeshua the Messiah must categorically reject the supposed authority of Paul and his doctrines as did the Ephesians whom Yeshua commended for doing so. If we truly love the God of Abraham, we will do as Abraham did and do as Yeshua commanded. God gave Isaac an incredible promise, and He explained to him why He had blessed his father Abraham with such a wonderful blessing. He said that the blessing was:

“…BECAUSE Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My Laws.”

Genesis 26:5 NKJV

And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come! And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let him who thirsts come. And whoever desires, let him take of the water of life freely.”

Revelation 22:17 NKJV
